How to Make a Booking

Most golf clubs within the PlayMoreGolf network offer online booking via our platform. We work with a variety of tee sheet providers including BRS, Intelligent Golf, ClubV1, and others. Each club has unique booking settings, so the process and available options may vary slightly between venues.

Please note: Some clubs may operate on manual bookings rather than online. This can be because they have ended their partnership with PlayMoreGolf and no longer wish to pay for the API integration, or because we are unable to facilitate an integration with the tee sheet provider they use. In these cases, booking might need to be handled directly with the club.

Booking Process Overview

  1. Log in to your PlayMoreGolf account via the website or mobile app.

  2. Navigate to the ‘Book a Round’ section.

  3. Select the club, course, preferred date, and time.

  4. Review availability and complete your booking.

⚠️ Note: If the ‘Book a Round’ button is greyed out, it could be due to:

  • Insufficient points for the selected tee time.

  • A restriction on the time or day you’re attempting to book.

  • Incorrect date or time selection (especially when using the app).

Amending Bookings and Points for Changed or Shortened Rounds

  • If your round changes from what was originally booked—for example, you booked 9, 10 or 12 holes (club dependent) but ended up playing 18—please contact your club first, as they have the ability to amend your booking. If the pro shop is unmanned or the staff are unsure how PlayMoreGolf works, you can also contact our Services Team on 03305 556 555 (option 1) for assistance.
  • If you booked 18 holes but only played the lower matrix (9/10/12), the club or our team can help adjust your points accordingly. In cases where your round is cut short due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or you're playing on reduced/temporary tees with club approval, we may be able to partially refund your points.

Understanding Club-Specific Booking Rules

  • Some clubs do not allow paired tee times. If you see a tee time initially available, but it disappears after booking a single slot, this likely means paired bookings are not supported for that club.

  • Cancellation policies also vary by club. In some cases, you may not be able to cancel online due to their configuration settings.

Booking Issues & Error Messages

If you encounter an error message when making or cancelling a booking, please:

If urgent, please leave a voicemail with as much detail as possible. Our team will review the booking error directly via the tee sheet provider and assist accordingly.

Depending on the issue, we can:

  • Cancel the booking for you,

  • Contact the club and complete the booking on your behalf, or

  • Provide tailored advice to resolve the issue.

Information to Include When Contacting Support

To help us resolve your issue quickly, please provide the following:

  • Club and course name

  • Date and time of booking

  • Number of players

  • Description of the issue (e.g. error message, greyed-out button, etc.)
